“Psychopathology – Attitude and Movement”

Workshop starts at 10am, and ends at 5pm
This workshop starts by taking a broad look at psychopathology and the implications of categorization within DSMIV, labelling and the concepts of normality and abnormality.
It will then address specific disorders, symptoms and safeguarding methods, and in particular look at Adler’s concepts of the distancing and social interest.
The workshop also addresses medical and therapeutic interventions, the BACP ethical framework , and multi-agency work.
About the facilitator:
Jill Reynolds Jill qualified with a diploma in Adlerian Counselling in 1999 and gained her ASIIP Diploma in Supervision and became an accredited Adlerian counsellor in 2007. She has a degree in psychology and has post-graduate teaching qualifications. She is a tutor and administrator with the BAT team and has a private practice in Buckingham, She is a member of ASIIP, BPS IfL and MBACP.

Fees:
£30 (free to Bucks Adlerian Training students).
CPD - certificate of attendance available.
