The aim of this workshop is to:
- Explore own attitudes towards grief and loss
- Increase the participants’ understanding of different bereavement frameworks.
- Understand how Adlerian concepts can be used to work with grief and loss
- Understand how the uniqueness of an individual’s grief impacts on family systems.
- Understand the difference between normal and complicated grief
About the facilitators:
Jill Reynolds
Jill qualified with her Adlerian Counselling Diploma in 1999, and became an ASIIP accredited counsellor and supervisor in 2007. She has a degree in psychology and post-graduate teaching qualification. She has a private counseling practice in Buckingham, and is a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP) and British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Institute of Institute for Learning (IfL).
Bruce Greenhalgh, IIP Dip. IIP Supervisor, MA Couns. FCIPD, BACP Accred.
Bruce is a tutor on the Bucks Adlerian Training course and works in the corporate Employee Assistance Programme field.
